Thank you so much! I just got an Epson SX-125 that I found in the street, to print all colours again. After I first tested it, only black prints would come out. Now all 4 cartridges are used again! Yay! By the way I did not disconnect any of the flat cables. Although I had the materials at hand I didn't have to do the "last resort cleaning". Very relieved about that.

Thank you for this video. I have a Epson XS130 that has been stored in the loft for years. I have bought new cartridges and even a new USB connector as I couldn't remember where I stored the original - wish I hadn't have wasted my money now. It really is a poor printer. It was not printing properly and and ink light constantly flashed. The method of pressing the 'stop' button, which then brings along the next cartridge to change and allows you to access to it not working so once I manage to replace one colour, the light stayed on, but the machine would not bring along the next cartridge in place for me to access it and change. I was pleased to come across your video just so I could replace all cartridges and understand the machine a bit better (i'm not techy at all!). I didn't clean it too much because I wanted to test whether that would do the trick. Now its all back together, plugged in and working and finally, the ink light had gone off. Issue now is, its not printing with black still. Any advice from here anyone? I also now remember that I stopped using this printer as I had issues back then!

What do I do if it is locked? I tried to wash them out per your instructions and no ink came onto the paper towel on any of the colors.

Hi, I have bought this printer used for really cheap and I cannot get it to scan. Do you have any suggestions? I downloaded the drivers and when I press both top buttons nothing happens.

Ciao Paolo, molto interessante, ho visto come smonti la stampante per pulire testine ma a me serve poter disincastrare il rullo o scanner che è nella parte alta della stampante, per intenderci il coperchio che hai tolto dopo aver svitato le viti, come posso aprire il vetro o plexiglass e mettere a posto lo scanner? Se puoi essermi d'aiuto grazie mille. Anna
